From January 3 to 5, 2024, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Hoang An Quoc, local coordinator of the FOREST project, and Dr. Huynh Nguyen Anh Tuan participated in the Workshop on Teaching & Learning & Assessment Methods within the Framework of the FOREST Project funded by ERASMUS+. The FOREST project involves the participation of four Vietnamese universities (Vietnam National University of Forestry, University of Science - Thai Nguyen University, University of Science – Hue University, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education) along with four EU partner universities (Linkoping University, Sweden; University of Catania, Italy; University of Leoben, Austria; and Polytechnic University of Tomar, Portugal).

During the visit and working session, HCMUTE and Polytechnic University of Tomar have agreed to continue the cooperation agreement for the Erasmus+ KA171 International Credit Mobility program - phase 2023 - 2024. (In 2023, HCMUTE implemented a similar project coded KA107 with HAMK University, Finland, and there were 2 faculty members and 2 students from HCMUTE who participated in the exchange with HAMK University).
Following the success of the trip to Portugal, from January 10 to 11, 2024, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Hoang An Quoc and colleagues from the Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology - HCMUTE, including Dr. Huynh Nguyen Anh Tuan, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Thao, Dr. Nguyen Quynh Mai, and Mr. Tran Phuong Nam (Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship - HCMUTE), attended the workshop on 'Chemical Solutions to Meet Climate Change, Entrepreneurship, and Business Partnerships'. This event was organized by the University of Catania (UNICT), Catania, Italy, and held at Thai Nguyen University, Vietnam.

On January 12, 2024, also at Thai Nguyen University, the Final conference within the framework of the FOREST Project was held. This was a summary seminar of the activities carried out in 2023, where project partners also discussed future cooperation directions.
