The 1st Vietnam-Korea Joint Workshop of Solid-State Circuits and Systems is co-organized by Journal of Korea Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineer and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education. The goal of the event is twofold to foster an international forum for scientific and technological exchange among Vietnamese, Korean and worldwide scientists, engineers and researchers in the fields of solid state circuits, systems and related areas, and to share their high-quality achievements.

The 2016 workshop was hosted by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education and was hold on January 26th, at Meeting Room 2, 6th Floor, Main Building, University of Technology and Education, No. 01 Vo Van Ngan, Thu Duc District, Ho Chi Minh City.

The workshop was joined from 5 top professors in field of Solid-State Circuits and Systems, representatives of IKEEE journal, Korea. The Vietnamese invited speakers come from the semiconductor companies such as Renesas, ICDREC, FPT, Bosh, Keysights Technology and universities. Prof. Dr. Hoang An Quoc, representative of HCMUTE university, Head of Scientific Research Management and Technology Transfer Office opens the speech address,  Dr. Vo Minh Huan was a chairman for the workshop. In addition, the workshop attracts more than 10 technical posters from the master students and undergraduate students in field of solid sate circuit and system design.
